Growing up in Edmonton might mean I’m not so popular with my old friends, because voicing commercials for the Calgary Flames would be considered treasonous. However, living in the fair city of Calgary for 8 years has enough merit to earn me citizenship. Some of my best friends and greatest clients are still in Cowtown. Plus… this job is for my dad, who tried his whole life to get me to cheer for the Flames. Along with jumping on the bandwagon when they took their run at the cup in ’03 and voicing these spots, I think I’ve proven to him that I am a “Real Hockey Fan”.
