This is one of my favorite kinds of commercials to record. Warm, more narrative than announcer. I love being included on a project that is this well shot. And once again, I’m amazed at the dexterity of the voice over industry to be able to work with companies on the other side of the continent.

Looking forward to one day visiting the east coast again. I’ll be sure to plug Bridgeport into the GPS.

Gundam Dynasty – PS3 Video Game

The Gundam saga continues. With his mastery of the “Bad Guy” voice and an ever increasing number of credits under his belt, many of them villains, Dave has provided the English voice for the Gundam character, Master Asia for a number of years now. The most recent was for the PlayStation3 Game, “Dynasty Warriors: Gundam”.

With tons of battle play and many of the original cast of the G Gundam series, this game is a huge hit with Gundam fans.

Zoid – Chaotic Century

From quirky Mad scientist to heroic freedom fighter to loyal ancient robots, Dave took on a few roles in this wildly popular series, Zoids Chaotic Century. With loads of Character Voices at his disposal, Dave brought a ton of voices to this show. This video firstly features the voice character, Dr. D. A scientist with some helpful insight when it comes to the ancient civilizations.

Dave also performed the role of Rosso, as seen at the end of this video, but it was the multiple organoids that made for a vocal workout. Of course Zeke is the most notable of the heroic ancient beings, but Dave also provided vo for Ambient, Specular and Shadow.

G Gundam – Master Asia VS Domon

Dave is the perfect bad guy. The ultimate villain. In more than one series, he’s played more than one bad guy. You can listen to more of his Animation Samples here. The once great teacher has become Domon Kaashu’s mortal enemy. Dave continues to voice the part of the rogue martial arts master, intent on destroying the world with the help of the Dark Gundam. This clip highlights some of Dave’s more sinister characteristics. Ever the bad guy, he packs in an intense performance, from battle scene’s to emotional breaks, to all-out dangerous and vicious.

Gundam has become one of the most successful anime franchises of all time. Dave voices the role of Master Asia in this series as well as the PS3 video games.

Animation of the Gregory Horror Show

This is one of the stranger animated series you’ll ever see. More than 50 short animated pieces and 1 highly spooky video game. This wicked old rat is the caretaker of Gregory House. He loves toying with troubled hearts and is always mumbling something. Gregory is your narrator and guide into this macabre world of the Gregory Horror Show.

Gregory Horror Show is a CG-animated horror-comedy program, set in an alternate dimension and populated by surreal and imaginative characters, dominated by Gregory, the evil proprietor of Gregory House. On the surface, each inhabitant of this “hotel for lost souls” represents a universal, everyday fear. But even this appearance is camouflage — the bright plumage of insecurity to hide inner conflicts and subtlety of character.

Gregory acts as your guide and host into this macabre, wacky world of compiled short stories. You will be surprised at each plot-twisting ending.

Zeta Gundam – Animation Voiceover

Dave’s animation voiceover rolls in the Zeta Gundam series were a little more limited after playing principle role of Master Asia in the G Gundam series and games. Dave voiced the parts of the Narrator and Henken Bekkener in this series.Henken forms part of the AEUG’s initial core leadership on the battleship Argama. This series was recorded at Calgary’s Chinook Animation.

Ocean Wanderer – Television Program

A movie trailer style voiceover to hail the launch of a new, adventurous television program. This show featured a family who picked up life’s anchor and dropped it in various ports around the ocean. Ocean Wanderer, produced by Grasslands Entertainment (also produced The Thirsty Traveler), takes footage from the Knight family’s trip around the globe and couples it with recent interviews to weave the story of this epic adventure.

Originally aired in 2004, this series was recently seen on Fine Living and the Outdoor Network
