Not sure if it’s because Dave is a little crusty at the best of times, but he was asked to voice the Character Role of an old railroad engineer, Ben Murgatroyd in the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre’s “The Edge of Destruction”. This is the story of a town in southern Alberta that was decimated by a rock slide. This video is brilliantly shot and produced, providing the Crowsnest Pass with an incredible depiction of the valley’s history.
Today, the rockslide still litters the valley. Some has been moved to make way for the highway, but much of it still sits where it fell almost 100 years ago. It is an incredible sight to behold.
