Tough Sports Voice Over – Miami Hurricanes

I really do enjoy voicing commercials for sports teams. There’s something deliciously primal about curling your lip and growling out a script. I should have know when I was 15 that the Miami Hurricanes sweatshirt I bought was a sign that we would one day do business together. I’m hoping my voice has leant the team a little luck this season and along with not washing jockstraps, they feel some kind of superstition about keeping their voice talent on for another season.

MegaBloks NFS – TV Commercial Voice Over

I love the relationship I’ve built with MegaBloks. NFS or Need For Speed, the new action toy based on the hit EA Games product is the most recent project I’ve been involved with. Very cool to get some big names in the gaming and toy industry in on one session. I’m always honoured to be a part of these projects.

Toy Commercial – Dragon’s Universe

After a highly successful campaign with Battle Strikers, MegaBloks asked if I still loved toys as much as I did as a kid, and if I would like to be the voice of their Dragon’s Universe commercials. Another cool new toy series with commercials produced by Charles Anderson Creative. With an opportunity to say those coveted words… “Sets sold separately. Batteries not included.”… I was hooked. This is the second toy series I’ve voice for these folks, but it’s not the last.

High Energy Voice – Battle Strikers

I worked on an incredibly fun series of spots with the crew from Pascal Blais and MegaBloks. Producing some high energy voice over for television commercials, for one of the biggest toys of the last few years. Really, I had the easy part, plus more than once I got to say, “Toys sold separately. Batteries not included.” What more could I ask. It’s been the start of a great relationship with both of these great companies.

Timberland Pro – Work World

This :15 TV spot was set to run through the 2008-09 NFL football season. A manly voice telling sports fans where they could pick up quality workboots. This was a great series of spots to emphasize a big, strong read. A deep voice with lots of power behind it.

Legendary sports voiceover for WAC football. There’s an ridiculous amount of hard work that goes into NCAA football players training. And it doesn’t all come at practice time. Those that truly want to win put in their own time. Committing to a winning tradition.

The WAC has experienced tremendous success. Over the past six years, it has won 54.5 percent of its bowl games, the third best winning percentage of any conference in the nation. The WAC has sent a total of 22 teams to bowl games (12-10) in that period. Boise State has won 76 games since joining the conference, the most in the nation during that time span (2001-07). For the second year in a row, the WAC sent a team to a BCS bowl game as Hawai‘i earned a Sugar Bowl bid this past season following Boise State’s unforgettable victory in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl. In men’s basketball, the WAC has sent at least two teams to the NCAA Tournament in 23 of the past 25 seasons. Every current school in the WAC has competed in the NCAA Tournament since 1990. In baseball, the WAC has boasted two national champions in the past five years including Fresno State’s College World Series victory in 2008. In women’s sports, Fresno State softball has competed in every NCAA Tournament ever held while Louisiana Tech basketball has played in all but two.
